Just as a quick reminder, Unit 6 will be the last unit we'll be doing before our first cumulative exam. You guys should start going over old material now! Also, this exam will be in the format of the actual competition, so you should look that up in the rulebook as soon as possible!

Units 5 & 6 Assignment Sheet Answers
Unit #5 Answers:
Unit #6 Answers:
Note: Question #17 is a bad question: most airplanes actually fly in the lower stratosphere. On top of the troposphere is correct, but the answer isn't the best. Don't worry, you won't be tested on this! I got this question off of a question bank and just realized how bad it was.
Unit #6 Answers:
Note: Questions #22 and #23 have errors in them. Q22a should be Celsius, Q22b should be Kelvin, Q23a should be Fahrenheit, and Q23b should be Kelvin.
If you have any questions on any of these problems/answers, email me at ajz1998@gmail.com.

Meeting #4
Congratulations to both you guys for doing wonderful on today's test! Remember... middle level clouds typically predict rain/thunderstorms.
Once break begins, I will update the site to its entirety. Right now I don't have much time, but by the time classes resume next year, the entire schedule will be completed.
Homework over break includes Unit #4 (if you haven't done so already), Unit #5, and Unit #6. Next week we'll take the Units 5 and 6 quiz. The first cumulative exam (Units 1-6) is currently scheduled for January 18th.
I know that the files are currently unaccessible (sorry), but I will share them over break. I will post an update on this site when I do so.
Have a nice break!

Welcome!
Welcome to the official website for Gallimore's Weather or Not Science Olympiad event! Over this school year, we will learn pretty much everything about weather, ranging from cloud formation to the achievements of notable scientists.
Last year, the Miller Weather or Not team won 1st place at the regional competition. Hopefully we can repeat that success this year.
Homework for each week can be found on the right sidebar. Units, resources, and the schedule can be found by clicking their respective pages on the upper bar.
I look forward to meeting you guys this year! If you want to contact me in any way, my e-mail is ajz1998@gmail.com.
